News on Bittensor That Also Effects the Price of xTAO Inc

The largest subnet of Bittensor, Templar, has withdrawn from the Bittensor ecosystem with negative price reaction in the price of Bittensor. This negative price action in Bittensor will impact xTAO Inc (XTAIF*) as they are the largest public company owner of Bittensor (TAO*).

Is this a longer term threat to Bittensor (TAO*) and xTAO Inc (XTAIF*)?

In the market we deal with probabilities. There are always unknowable’s.

My answer is that it is probable that TAO will survive this, possibly become stronger because of this development.

The accusation by Templar is that Bittensor isn’t really decentralized and is controlled by three people that oversee the Bittensor ecosystem.

Since we are working with probabilities I wanted to hear from organizations that have greater insight into Bittensor than myself.

I checked with two AI Platforms, GROK and ChatGPT with the question, “Is the announcement and action yesterday, present a real threat to the Bittensor ecosystem?

The nice thing about AI is that it is factual based on information available and can analize with no emotions. That is very key when dealing with probabilities.

The reply from both AI platforms was expressed in different ways but still similar.
In the short term, the next five to ten trading days are significant and will be volatile. The probabilities are that in the longer term, six months to two years, it does not appear to be a threat to Bittensor as an ecosystem. A key item to watch is to see if other subnets lose confidence in the Bittensor ecosystem and this causes the perception to reality (very important in the crypto/blockchain world) to grow negative reactions. Both AI Platforms expressed the comment that most early stage crypto/blockchains experience similar periods and this is not that unusual. They both express the comment that the risk to the Bittensor ecosystem is low but dependent on the members reaction. Do they stay within the Bittensor system or exit as well?

A quick check of YouTube for third party comments post the news release (initial news linked here)
The first influencer that posted post news was JM Crypto. I have seen this person before, think he’s credible but don’t have long term experience with him.

HUGE Bittensor Drama!! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
8.40 minutes long.

The influencer’s own conclusion was that he was holding and would continue to dollar-cost-average into buying TAO, the altcoin.

I encourage you to check with the AI platforms on your own, framing your questions and concerns about Bittensor and or xTAO Inc (XTAIF*). AI is here to stay. It is a very good source for a practical check and balance so you can make your sown informed decisions.

After reviewing multiple sources of what I believe to be non-emotional observation and knowledge, I also plan to hold and dollar-cost average into TAO* and XTAIF*. The position in TAO that I own was purchased at prices between $135 and $360 my average cost on TAO is in the $285 dollar area. TAO is still within my buying range.. My purpose and goal in buying TAO is to accumulate a position with a minimum two year hold and a five to ten X return on the position.

Conclusion; concerned but thinking of this as a long-term buying opportunity with very high and unpredictable volatility, especially in the next few weeks.

My goals with XTAIF* are the same as with TAO, the altcoin.
