Three possible outcomes to the USA debt problem We break the possible outcomes into, Two Extremes and the Middle: I: The Federal Reserve leaves interest rates low for an extended period of time and weakens the US$ so that over the next ten years we pay back the USA debt with cheaper US Dollars. Estimated weakening is 3% to 5% a year for ten years. This results in a 30% to 50% loss of purchasing power over the next ten years. In this process, we lose purchasing power of our cash savings, bonds or interest-based investments. Hard asset investing is needed to retain purchasing power. Therefore, the positioning of Gold (precious metals) Commodities and hard asset investing. It is important to not have debt attached to these hard assets as your income needed to support the debt may disappear. It is also likely that in people’s need for liquidity, hard assets might need to be sold and we could have spikes lower in the value of hard assets. Continue reading →

Relentless in its advance. Impressive with no news. $50 million Mkt Cap would be a price of $4.34 and a $100 million market cap (where I think it is going, would be $8.77 – I do believe MKTY is heading towards doing a secondary offering of 5 million shares. A guess on my part – so add 5 million shares to the 11.4 million shares outstanding and divide it into 100 million Mkt Cap and you get a price target of $6.00. Continue reading →

You can assume some things about the list above. First is that these are owned in accounts related to LOTM and second, we might sell them at any time without notice here.
We are play a real game of turning $10,000 into One Million. We need seven doubles of $10,000 without a miss to reach our goal assuming we own one double at a time. Our timeline goal is to find stocks, that can double within one-year. Therefore, it is a seven-year game. Work out the math for yourself. We might own one stock at a time, likely no more than three – maybe four. This is the worksheet of stocks we are tracking for our working selection. We will rarely own more than three stocks at a time in our game as the more diversified we are the harder it is to reach one million$’s.
A less intense player of the game of investing, can build a portfolio from the stocks above for upside appreciation. As you can see, the “market” likes small and micro-cap stocks at this time.
LOTM Coaches, Mentors, and educates but we are not investment Advisors. What we share with you today, is as a journalist and educator. We have a model whare we know the profile we are seeking based on the fundamental profile of a company, a capital structure profile of a company and the technical chart pattern of the stock of the company. We are happy to teach, share and educate in this process but that is not for free. It is also not as expensive as you might think. We know many people are hurting financially and stressed mentally. Investing is not easy. It requires focus, desire, work, and attention. Contact Tom if interested. Initial consultations are free.
The Federal reserve is keeping interest rates low and letting inflation run above it target goal. This is the best of times but what the Fed is doing creates a different paradigm than what has been the last decade. A new Paradigm is just beginning. Climb aboard. It is going to be an exciting ride!

Down from $120 five years ago, we believe Apache Corp (APA) is too cheap as is the Oil and Gas industry. LOTM is focused on gas more than oil but we could not ignore Apache.
Calumet price is breaking out above the recent consolidation pattern. Support is now $3.00 to $3.30 zone. Look for 5% to 7% dips in the share price to buy. Think $3.00 is pretty solid support. Next trading channel highs are $4.50 to $5.00. Longer term price goals are $8 to $10, on asset sales and debt reduction. Continue reading →

CLMT* $3.10 – Just for fun, let’s do some napkin math.
CLMT has begun a move higher that is very orderly and appears institutionally driven. We expected more BOOM! But I like orderly with strong volume. Means this is more of a keeper for a bigger move higher. How High? Glad you asked. Continue reading →

Calumet (CLMT) $3.00 in aftermarket trading, Friday.
I do not have a love affair with CLMT, but I do recognize the Fundamental progress the company has made. Management has executed this turnaround and transition from commodity oil refiner to Specialty Chemical company almost perfectly – in my opinion. Some would say they could have done better. Real life is messy. Not perfect, as an academic or researcher “believes” it should be. It is professionalism in the face of adversity, the ability to solve problems and adapt that is the most important. CLMT management did this. Continue reading →
